The Hat Stretchers at Lunges.
And now for something totally different -- live music in a gym? Yes! We are hosting The Hat Stretchers on Wednesday, June 1st, from 8p to 10p.
If you have been to our Christkindlmarkt, you will have heard The Hat Stretchers and noticed how awesome the acoustics are with all the padded turf. So when thinking of fun and creative ways to use our space outside of class time, we thought why not transform our gym to summertime lawn concert that will never get rained out?
You know, we should probably touch wood. Ya know, given how many times this building has sprung a leak on us!
Mocktails and alcho-samples.
We are super excited to be able to provide an alternative venue for live music in Berwyn. If, like a few of us on the staff, you aren't a drinker, you are going to love being able to enter a space that doesn't have the smell and vibe of a bar, but still be able to enjoy some live music, mocktails, and the company of friends.
But for those who do drink? We will have a lil speakeasy in the yoga studio where WSET sommelier Stephanie Sherman will be inviting those who *do* want something a bit stiffer to sample some of her low carb, low sugar spirits and seltzers.
We have charcuterie boxes, hummus and veggies, salads, as well as a whole lot of charcuterie items a la carte for you to enjoy. And, of course, sweets! So bring your picnic blanket and plan to cozy up on our "grass" for some real down home music and feel good vibes. Because we aren't hosting this in a bar, this is a family-friendly event.
You can reserve your spot ahead of time or pay the suggested $10 donation at the door. We hope you can join us this Wednesday at 8p.
